Ms. Illinois International

I’ve always been guided by heaven, and the reason I am here is because of my earth angel/pageant Director Randi! She reached out to me via another Angel, Tiffany Kory, who was the first Ms. Illinois international who urged me to talk to her.

That phone call changed my life and why I’m here now. Randi built me up with so much light and love that I had no choice than to believe it! This journey has forever changed my life’s trajectory and transformed me into the powerful Woman and Queen I am today.

Unfortunately, if there be light, then there is darkness, and I lost my nephew Alan through suicide. I too had a suicide attempt and survived. A miracle that I am still here to be

able to talk about it. My mission is and will continue to be the light for those in the darkness.

Thank you to my sponsors from the Illinois Pageant system family who supported me.

Thank you Constantine for making us beautiful! and Matty for creating magic!

My journey has so many highlights, including working with the Secretary of State, Jesse White, meeting authors, public personalities not just nationally but internationally, radio/TV hosts, and multiple organizations. I am so blessed to have connected with like-minded souls, who I will continue to work with to make a difference!

Thank you to my mom and family for supporting me. You always encourage me to dream and do the impossible!

To my twin sister, Mariana, who’s always there for me and reminds me to focus on the bigger picture. Because this is not about me, it is about all of us- to help the collective with light and love.

To my three children, Seth, Sienna and Syler. Thank you for being my biggest fans. I could not have done this without you! I love you with all my heart!

To my Queen sisters- Tiffany, Adriana, Katie, Natalie, Gia, Gina and Mila! It was an honor to serve alongside you. I admire and love each one of you!

To the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. We were able to do so much work, but there’s still more to be done.

I will continue to speak about suicide awareness, discrimination, woman empowerment, sexual harassment and work these platforms as a Legacy Queen.

I close with a quote from Maya Angelou that I hope inspires all women to follow your heart and souls true purpose:

“Each time a woman stands up for herself, without knowing it possibly, without claiming it, she stands up for all women.”

Is the the end for me? Absolutely not! I will continue to serve. My legacy does not end here. This is only the beginning. ♥️
