I totally love this picture that states that even the smallest step in the right direction will be the only way towards the fulfillment of our dreams.
Many times, we fear this dreadful step, but once taken, it will liberate us, and with it, it will move us towards the life we were meant to live.
Don’t fear your own greatness- you may be surprised of what you may become, but you will never know if you don’t take the first step.
Have faith, believe in yourself and take the first step. See all the greatness within you, and realize that you have the power to reach for the stars.
Just like in Martin Luther King Jr. own words:
“Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase”.
Research in psychology has shown that our feelings can very much impact our reality and the opportunities that are sent to our lives can sprout out from feeling “unlucky”, “lucky” or “blessed.”
Psychologist Richard Wiseman spent years researching scientifically why some people live luckier or happier lives. His research analyzed how feelings affect our lives. The results of his study showed that those participants that found themselves unlucky are people who are generally more tense and filled with anxiety feelings. These feelings then disrupted their ability to notice opportunities in their life.
However, those participants that felt “Lucky” or” blessed”, on the other hand, had feelings which involved being relaxed and open. This meant they were able to see what is really there in their lives and recognized opportunities.
This is just a mere example of how emotions and thoughts affect our lives and reality. So when in doubt, just wake up with a smile and see how your entire day will shift and you will have a blessed and happy day! Live every experience with a smile and realize how you can change the world with just one smile.
