You can’t expect different results if you have the same thinking pattern and do things over and over again…break free from who you are- break free from those limitations you’ve unknowingly programmed yourself (to think, to be, to experience, to know)…get out of your head 🧠 and get into your heart ♥️ to make miracles happen…it’s the ONLY way!
We are ONE…what does that even mean? We hear this phrase often and yet we may not truly grasp the deeper meaning behind it. Look around you…what do you see? Faces…different in its appearance, shape, color…what beauty! So how can we be ONE when we appear so different?
Without taking away your uniqueness, which we all are!! However, what if you take away your exterior shell…what’s left? The important things if you ask me (but we will get to that)… what’s left?…your mind and soul. Most people would almost always deem the mind most important, even over the soul (an essence which we might not fully grasp or understand its true mystery and yet every culture in the world has spoken and acknowledged its existence). Would Einstein chose his mind over his soul? Hmm…good question…and you would probably bet he would make this choice. The truth is that he would not…he valued the soul over the mind, as we can see in his quote:
“We should take care not to make the intellect our god; it has, of course, powerful muscles, but no personality.”
Another of his quotes further supports this idea,
“My religion consists of a humble admiration of the illimitable superior spirit who reveals himself in the slight details we are able to perceive with our frail and feeble mind.”
Bob Samples an independent scholar, artist, author, and visionary champion of natural and cultural systems in balance wrote in his 1976 book “The Metaphoric Mind: A Celebration of Creative Consciousness” on the importance of the soul over the mind, which talks about Einstein’s own notions and beliefs on the soul:
“Albert Einstein called the intuitive or metaphoric mind a sacred gift. He added that the rational mind was a faithful servant. It is paradoxical that in the context of modern life we have begun to worship the servant and defile the divine.”
So now that we understand Einstein’s standpoint, you may think…so what? Well…as someone who is considered of having one of the greatest minds of all times- wouldn’t you think that he had a point when speaking of the soul vs the mind?
In my own belief, while our mind can be very powerful, it can be a very dangerous weapon…why dangerous you ask? Well..it’s simple, because our mind has deep rooted beliefs and perspectives that are instilled so deeply and strongly that it causes fear to what appears different from what is considered the “me”, “we”, “us”, anything outside of that is seen to the mind as separate from me. And as we know anything not forming a part of “me” is not one with me- and that’s a problem for the mind. It fears what it doesn’t understand.
That’s why the mind is biased when the soul is not. The soul, unlike the mind, does not see these false realities, perspectives, differences. It does not see color, race, religion. It only sees the true essence of a human- it very core- its eternal beingness- its divine soul.
Going back to our friend Einstein…he had the same beliefs regarding the soul.
“A human being is a part of the whole, called by us “Universe”, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest — a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty. Nobody is able to achieve this completely, but the striving for such achievement is in itself a part of the liberation and a foundation for inner security.”
His words resonate deep within my own soul…so how do we break free from the prison of the mind…of the self, all that separates ourselves from others, from those we deem different and separate from us, divided from the whole? When we are indeed, in our very essence…the same…we are indeed ONE…we are ONE TRIBE…ONE UNIVERSE.
Our make-up is mere frequency and energy, our outer-shelling is but a mere illusion, our hair color, the color of our eyes, the color of our skin, our bodies, are but a mere illusion of the treasure that lies beneath…our soul.
Einstein yet again said it best:
“We are slowed down sound and light waves, a walking bundle of frequencies tuned into the cosmos. We are souls dressed up in sacred biochemical garments and our bodies are the instruments through which our souls play their music.”
Let us break from this prison, wake up from the ilusión and lift the veil of delusion…open our circle of compassion, open our circles to those different than us and give fraternal love to our brothers and sisters of this world. We are not separate, our countries, religions, races, cultures don’t define us. We are not different…beneath it all…we are ONE…ONE mind…ONE cosmic heart…ONE universal soul….all but ONE.
Next time you feel your not part of others suffering in this political climatic upheaval, remember these words…we are brothers and sisters of the soul…let the soul brotherhood and sisterhood- soul fraternity take force and kindle each and every divine soul in this vast and beautiful world…to become ONE, as we have always been.
Love and light,
Everything is energy and everything vibrates at a specific frequency. I found this wonderful read about energy and its vibrating frequency. Our friends from Ashtar Command Crew shared a wondeful article on how to change your frequency if it’s not vibrating at its fullest potential. Find out here how to become the best you can be and change your vibrational frequency (if it’s lagging and dense).
Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
I leave you with this quote I came across this week: “There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.” And that is what this journey is all about.
The Dalai Lama is turnned 80 years old on July 6, but he doesn’t want any gifts. Instead, your social media presence is the present.
In honor of his milestone birthday, His Holiness is asking people to share photos, videos and quotes depicting people simply treating one another kindly, along with the hashtag #withcompassion on social accounts.
“He has done so much to spread peace and compassion to the world – this is our opportunity to truly say thank you and to show him the incredible impact his work has on the global community,” Ven. Lama Tenzin Dhonden, founder and chair of Friends of the Dalai Lama nonprofit, said in an email statement.
I think we should all come together to honor the birthdate of such an admirable and blessed man who has bathed this world with love and light!
Happy birthday Your Holiness! Thank you for showing us a different way. Let us celebrate the Dalai Lama’s 80th Birthday Wish by living #WithCompassion
